Navigating Through Change.
Change gets announced at the top and absorbed everywhere else. This talk gives people a simple way to stop spending energy on what they can't control, and put it where it actually changes something.

People don't resist change. They resist losing certainty.
Every one of us needs a sense of certainty: routine, safety, knowing what tomorrow looks like. Change takes that away first, before anyone has explained what it gives back. So people dig in, go quiet, or spend their energy on the corridor conversation instead of the work.
I know that feeling from the inside. I've had to rebuild my life more than once, and never with a plan handed to me. What got me through wasn't motivation. It was learning where my energy was going, and moving it.
If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.
Navigating Through Change, live.
From noise to next steps.
What change takes from us
Why smart, committed people react badly to change, and the six human needs that explain it. Once a team can name what they're missing, they stop taking it out on each other.
The circles of control
A simple model people remember for years: what you control, what you can influence, and the outer circle you can't touch. Most stress lives in the outer circle. We move the energy inwards.
Reinvention as a process
Change you run, not change you wait for. Small wins that stack, personal bests instead of comparisons, and three concrete things to do in the first fortnight.
Your people leave with.
- A clear picture of what's in their control, and what isn't
- A shared language for change that doesn't sound like management
- Three things to do in the first fortnight
- A free copy of the Reinvention Handbook to keep the work going
