Leading Through Change · The Leadership EditionYour leaders set the pattern everyone else repeats.
Leadership isn't a title and it isn't a mood. It's how you show up on the days nobody feels motivated, including you, and the habits that keep a team performing when it counts. This is the most practical edition of my keynote: people write things down, try them in the room, and leave with something to do on Monday.

Most leadership training doesn't survive Monday.
People get promoted for being good at the job, then asked to do a completely different one. They're handed a title, a team and a target, and very little about who they need to become to carry it.
So they lean on motivation, which runs out, and numbers, which don't move people. The best leaders I've met build on something steadier: what they believe about themselves, how they communicate, and the standards they refuse to drop.
The standard you tolerate becomes the culture you create.
Think. Show up. Lead.
Spot the stories your leaders tell themselves, and the ones the team picks up from them.
Back yourself on the hard days, so a wobble never becomes the culture.
Understand the needs behind every behaviour on your team, and lead the person, not the role.
